A great portrait needs more than good Light. Makeup is often the overlooked missing component that can instantly elevate the quality of your work. And the closer you frame your subject, the more important it becomes.
In this video, Gavin teams up with Sophie Daley to create two distinct looks. The first is what you might expect to see when models do their own makeup or time is tight. The second look will demonstrate what's possible with a little more time and effort invested. The result: detailed beautiful makeup and color matching for face, neck and hands.Hint: Between shoots Gavin also has some top tips for working with a makeup artist.
